Living in New York City in 2001, I established Julia Reich Design minutes after shaking the Dean’s hand and receiving my diploma from Pratt Institute. With design dreams and lofty goals, I aligned myself with a unique and powerful business incubator program, NY Designs, to help me on my way. In a newly-refurbished (and quite swanky!) Long Island City office space, Julia Reich Design really came to life as I gained business savvy and furthered my creative know-how with access to training, tools, counseling, conference rooms, a prototype lab, and an incredibly talented design community (some of whom are part of the Julia Reich Design team today!). Over the next 6 years, I developed my capabilities, refined my specialties, and found some truly amazing clients.

The other life-long dream? Rural home ownership, where I could experience a greater connection with nature, and an elevated quality of life. In 2007, I moved to the beautiful Finger Lakes region of central NY, and I couldn’t feel more at home.

When I’m not running my design biz, you’ll find me exploring fields and gullies with my two above-average coonhounds, drinking really good tea, learning about wine, visiting farmer’s markets, and cross-country skiing.

Julia Reich Design is a certified woman-owned business.
